Antipathy and heteropathy are thus occasionally quite necessary to avoid the danger of immediate death and to secure time for the action of homoeopathic medicines. If this is true how can you differ from my statement that “all the agents employed in different systems of medicine must be employed homoeopathically, antipathically or heteropathically as occasion requires. This is the integration of several systems of medicines invogue”.
For a man weakened by dissolute living I prescribed (aside from other homoeopathic remedies) Phosphoric acid in Hahnemannian doses. The action was minimal. Then I prescribed the same remedy unpotentized 12 drops in water, several times. The result was excellent, general well – feeling and happiness enlivened the patient; the former long – lasting night – sweats disappeared, and coitus was again normal.
An attempt has been made to develop a definitive scale by giving the highest value to those symptoms which occurred most frequently among the provers, with decreasing value to those symptoms appearing less and less frequently. The advantage of this is obvious. Readers will search in vain for the keynote of hot, burning soles. This symptom did occur among the provers but without sufficient frequency to place it in the scale.
In biological organisations there comes a question of individuality i.e., every organism is unique and uniqueness is manifested by the peculiarity of its reaction to environmental factors.
