The pure Homoeopath is he who believes in the truth of the homoeopathic healing art, follows the instructions of Hahnemann very closely and cures patients in a most harmless way with homoeopathic drugs in the smallest doses. He examines his patient following the instructions given in the organon by Dr. Hahnemann. He gives a single Homoeopathic medicine at a time and waits as long as the improvement continues. He uses a second dose only when it is very necessary. A pure homoeopath is a true follower of Hahnemann.
He respects his Organon and Materia Medica as a christian respects his Bible. He has unbounded faith in the system of medicine which he practises and he always abhors to use any other drug which is not made homoeopathically. He never wants to pollute his hand by touching medicines belonging to other schools.
With his great faith in Homoeopathy and a thorough knowledge in Organon and Materia Medica he cures patients by administering homoeopathic remedies and refuses to use allopathic preparations. He always wins his battles by his own instruments of cure. Drs. Pratap Chandra Mazumdar, M.L. Sarkar, C.C. Kali, B.B. Mukherjee, G.D. Mukherjee, Chunilal Chatterjee and many others were pure Homoeopaths who always treated their patients with Homoeopathic drugs and never used allopathic medicines. All of them were true followers of Hahnemann. They were Hahnemanns worthy disciples.
Doctors Mazumdar, Kali, Sarkar and Mukherjee were graduates of the Calcutta Medical College but they were converted to Homoeopathy. They were appreciated the merits of Homoeopathy and hence they deserted allopathic system of medicine and practised pure Homoeopathy. They found to their full satisfaction that the Homoeopathic healing art was the real means for the alleviation of the bodily and mental sufferings of mankind. They had real love for Homoeopathy which is a “pure science of experience.”.
A Homoeopath in the real sense of the term never uses allopathic injections along with his homoeopathic drugs. He believes in Homoeopathy and practises Homoeopathy with an unhesitating mind. He works with a determined will to cure his patients with Homoeopathic remedies. Such practitioners of pure Homoeopathy never constitute a danger to society. On the other hand, they are great benefactors of human society.
Some Homoeopaths secretly use various allopathic pain killers and patent preparations in the name of Homoeopathic drugs. They have invented their Homoeopathic injections too. They give a mixed prescription. Such persons deceive their patients and deceive Homoeopathy. They are not pure Homoeopaths. They declare that they practise Homoeopathy but actually they give allopathic medicines to their patients. A pure Homoeopath always hates such an action. He takes it as an act of immortality.
