STRAY CASES FROM PRACTICE

Aphthae since last five years off and on – stools normal – appetite good – no hereditary history of any venereal disease. She was given Kali chloricum 1x, a dose twice a week for six months and the patient had full termed-child born in due course.

A woman, aged 47, fair, colour, small stature, consulted me for off and on bleeding. She was otherwise very healthy. Before coming to me she was examined by a gynaecologist of the local medical college. He diagnosed it to be a case of tumour and advised operation. Patients history in brief was:

Appetite good; stools normal; sleep normal. Burning sensation in soles of feet winter and summer alike. No history of any previous illness could be traced. By chance when I was questioning her she began to scratch the back of her fingers. On enquiry she told me that she had bad eruptions on all her fingers since three years, but the whole thing was not alright except a little patch on the back of ring-finger. She said there was no need of any treatment for her finger as she would continue applying the ointment her skin specialist had given her.

I was asked whether I could cure her female trouble. I said, “Yes.” But she will have to stop all other medicines while taking the homoeopathic drugs. She agreed to my suggestion. I gave her Sulphur 10m and advised her to take it at new moon. After twenty-four hours of taking of this medicine all her fingers were full of small itching pimples which brought the patient back to my clinic. I put her on unmedicated sugar pills for a week. After a week eruptions and haemorrhage were cured for ever.

A woman of 32 was brought to me by her husband as she never went to full terms and had four abortions. Her Wasserman was negative.

History: Aphthae since last five years off and on – stools normal – appetite good – no hereditary history of any venereal disease. She was given Kali chloricum 1x, a dose twice a week for six months and the patient had full termed-child born in due course.

A widow aged 35, was diagnosed suffering from polypus of the “cervix”, was advised operation – colour of the blood was dark. She had yellow leucorrhoea – profuse itching of the parts – sleep much disturbed with dreams of very vivid and horrible type, as well as lascivious absent-minded-suspicious temperament. One dose Cenchris 10m cured her – she was given China 30 to remove general weakness.

A woman, aged 24, was brought to me for painful menstruation. She was physically very strong and stout. After the first delivery the trouble had started. The labour was conducted with forceps and there were many tears which were sutured afterwards. To remove painful condition she had all kinds of treatment including dilation of the os. I put her on Thiosinamin gr. 2, twice daily. In three months time the whole thing was normal.
