THIS is caused by a parasite and is a very common skin disease affecting dogs, and is very contagious. The disease generally commences around the eyes, back of the ears, the elbows and abdomen, and may by degrees, unless checked, spread to the whole of the body. The parts affected become bare, and covered with small spots like flea bits, and these form into small sores and scabs, caused by the constant scratching.

TREATMENT. Eppss Mange Lotion, sold by Epps, Thatcher & Co., is a most effective preparation for the cure of this disease; it destroys the parasite and quickly relieves the irritation. It should be gently applied to the affected parts once a day. Give two or three tablets of homoeopathic Sulphur prepared especially for dogs three times a day.
