Obstinate constipation, of many years’ duration, cured in a few days by Sod. Chlorum By C. Stirling Saunder L. R. C. P., Lond.

Mr., aged 25, came to the writer at the end of January last suffering with symptoms of constipation, so obstinate as to have necessitated the habitual use of artificial aperients and laxatives almost daily for many years. He was given the sixth trituration potency of Sod. Chlorum, nothing else whatever, and in a few days’ time his bowels were perfectly regular, but continued the treatment for six weeks, since which he has been able to entirely dispense with even this.
